The swing and the rockers are about seven years old. They are still in good shape, the wood has just kind of darkened. When they were brand new, I used Thompson's Water Sealer with color in it. It's held up very well but I want them to have a pretty golden brown oak color. How should I go about doing this? I've heard that you can spray Easy Off on the wood furniture on a hot day and that the varnish would peel off that way but that sounds kind of bad. I'd like to know of an easy way to redo the porch furniture. I'm just wondering if I will have to sand them down and stain and polyurethane them or if I can skip some of the sanding? How complicated is this job going to be for me?

instead of recovering my dining room chairs there cream ,ive tried everything from stain remover to turps,anyone got any ideas. its the covers not the wood. im not sure what kind of paint it is but its from painting pottery,also ive tried a carpet cleaner.

the backs of the chairs are curved and the 3 pieces can be put together to form a large oval. I was told they were sold at walmart, but i can not locate them there or anywhere else.

We are located in West Lothian, Scotland. We would like to build an outdoor classroom in our school grounds and thought that treetrunk becnk seats would be a great idea. Only trouble is I have no idea where we could find such a thing. Any help would be most appriciated.

its my mums 50th coming up soon and she has never had a birthday party so we are throwing a childrens party for her with a twist!!!! has anyone got any suggestions on how to make simple kids party games, ie musical chairs etc, into naughty adult games!!!!!!!! lol. all ideas and thoughts welcome

my son is one year old ...... I saw a really cool table and chair cghild's set that I want to get him,but am curious at what age can a child sit in a child chair without a booster chair. I have not seen my child in four mths but get him for 20 days starting Sunday

I put a cold compress onto it. She was fine after 10 mins or so. There is a bruise in a line on the side of her, above her leg. I am very worried. It is a new job and only been doing it for four weeks or so and i'm worried about what her parents are going to say. I really feel awful as she is only 22 months. I'm not sure what information to give on it, all I know if that it was from my great grand mother, and it is in good condtion. Should I do a pick-up only, since it would be too hard to ship, would I get any bids that way though? I've never done pickup only, or any other options?
