Can I keep the drinks on a table outside or would that be tacky?
I'm having a couple of girls over for a fun night of chit-chat, snacks, and drinks. My kitchen is very small and tends to get a little crowded and loud, and messy after people spill a zillion times. I have a nice pattio set up on my back deck with a table, chairs, grill.... would it be tacky if I set up the drinks & cups outside on the patio table? I'm going to light a few candles out there & make it look pretty (candles will be safe in lantern type thing and out of the way so that people cant easily knock them over)...

Would you be annoyed if you had to go outside and get your drinks and such??

no its not tacky, but you should offer to get your guests their drinks...
no if its a nice day ,but if its cold need to keep warm haha
If you also say that no one is allowed to bring their drink inside then yes, it's tacky, and you can't enforce it without looking like a total jerk. More to the point, however, why do your friends spill drinks and knock over candles?
no because they might want to go out there to smoke anyway....its not tacky if you make it look nice and everything and maybe do offer to get the drinks for them
No i dont think its tacky at all. if it was to be cold out and nobody is chillin outside then it would just suck to have to go out to grab a drink. But oh well Its ur house. If u are plannig to hang out side then the drinks outside would be a great convience. Have fun and have a drink for me....
I personally would prefer to sit out on the patio and have drinks and chat than to be indoors if the weather permits.
As long as the weather will be nice, it's perfect! I bet everyone will just end up out there instead of having to keep heading back in. Take your radio/CD player out there and make a night out of just vegging under the stars and chatting. Sounds like a great night to me!
